NaPoWriMo Day 12 Fold In

(Fold in of Christopher Marlowe’s The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus Lines 6-13 and 56-63 folded together.)

Intends our Muse, between the quiet poles,

Only this, gentlemen and emperors and kings:

The form of Faustus’ or several provinces.

To patient judgments wind or rend the clouds,

And to speak for Faustus exceeds in this.

Now is he born, his path the mind of man:

In Germany, within a mighty god

Of riper years to whiten brains, to gain a deity.
